Anchor Guest House is on the sea front and faces westwards onto the beautiful safe and sandy beach at Broad Haven. The house is within the dramatic Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, while the Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes by the front door. Anchor House is an ideal base for the many outdoor activities for which Pembrokeshire is justly famous. Broad Haven boasts two pubs, a caf and takeaway eatery, a surf shop, a gift shop, a shop specialising in beach and souvenir articles as well as a general store and a sub-post office. Little Haven, with its own bistro, three pubs, and small caf as well as a gift and RNLI shop, is just over the hill -- 5 minutes by car or a 20 minute stroll along the shore when the tide is out -- while the larger market town of Haverfordwest is only 15 minutes away by car. There is a regular local bus service into town, meeting with both rail and bus connections to points beyond. In season, the Puffin Shuttle stops not 100 yards from the house on its daily journey between Milford Haven and St. Davids.
